Palm Sunday 2024

As we were in school for Holy Week, we were able to remember the events in an immersive and interactive way.

On Monday, the whole school community took part in our Palm Sunday procession, with real palm leaves and a donkey!  It was certainly an experience that none of the children or staff will ever forget!

The whole school community gathered in the hall to start our Palm Sunday celebrations.

Mrs Sewell read the Gospel from Palm Sunday to everyone in the hall.

Jesus and his disciples walked with the donkey into the school playground, acting out Jesus entering Jerusalem.

The rest of the school lined up in the playground with their palms to welcome Jesus and his disciples.

Once the Palm Sunday procession had finished, each class was given the opportunity to meet Barney the donkey.
