Catholic Social Teaching
EYFS – Year 6 will focus on a different aspect of Catholic Social Teaching as outlined below. One RE lesson per term will be devoted to Catholic Social Teaching. (In Term 1, however, two themes will be covered.)
Term 1: Stewardship of God’s Creation and Family and Community
Stewardship of God’s Creation to be the focus until Friday 4th October 2024 and Family and Community from Monday 7th October 2024.
Term 2: Dignity of the Human Person
Term 3: Solidarity and The Common Good
Term 4: Option for The Poor and Vulnerable
Term 5: Dignity of Work and the Right of Workers
Term 6: Rights and Responsibilities
