Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra

Year 3 and Year 4 were lucky enough to visit the Bristol Beacon today to hear a performance by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

They learned all about the different instruments in each of the families that make up the orchestra. The children also participated in various ways with singing and signing in makaton. There was also an impressive body percussion song too!

Most of the children had not been inside the Bristol Beacon before and certainly had never heard a live symphony orchestra either.

Based on their reactions, we have a few budding conductors amongst us too!

Thank you
for visiting
